Hi
I am migrating 50 users from Scalix 11.0.2.17 migrating to Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008.
I have tried the following:

1. "Archive" the scalix mailbox to PST and upload to Exchange
result: if a user replies to an internal email, the email says it doesn't know who the person is. I assume that the email headers in Scalix are using a format that is not an x400 email address.

2. IMAP the scalix mailbox and then archive the imap folders to a PST.
result: copies the folders but no emails.

3. IMAP the scalix mailbox and then export the imap folders to a PST.
result: copies the folders but no emails.

4. imapsync
results: copies inbox but no nested folders. And only seems to work if the user is setup in SBS2008 as a Network Administrator

5. Run Microsoft Importer (with correct exchange permissions set as per this page(https://msmvps.com/blogs/andersonpatricio/archive/2008/02/04/microsoft-transporter-suite-for-internet-mailboxes-configuring-exchange-impersonate-permission-in-exchange-server-2007.aspx).
results:

(Note that I have changed the domain names etc for privacy)

6. I tried emailshuttle but no luck, and really couldn't justify the time trying to get something to work that costs a ridiculous amount of money.

I am now freaking out that none of these have worked, as I am running out of time for my migration window (Easter weekend, yes i'm in the middle of it).
Transporter would be the best if I could work out that useless error.

You could solve the issue you are having with number 1 above by identifying whatever address is stamped on all of the previously sent email messages and applying that respective address to everyone's list of email addresses via an X500 address.

My end solution was to take a combination of the two.
1. Old scalix email attached as an IMAP account. That means they definitely get their email and it can be emailed from, without the email address being messed up.
2. Then I ALSO exported (not archived) their scalix email to a PST through a scalix profile.
3. Attach the PST to the new user profile. Copy and paste all the Contacts & Calendar.
