I am familiar with two, both of which are very good. They both have trial versions, so you can see which one you like better.

Oh, sorry, just noticed you're asking for free minimizers. I don't even know of any.

PowerPoint itself has picture compression options; those alone should help lower file size, as will turning off Fast Saves and doing these things listed here:

Why are my PowerPoint files so big? What can I do about it?
