Suggested web host for First Data Global gateway for their payment processing

I am working with a client who is using First Data Global gateway for their payment processor. I use PHP and curl to post payments.  The problem I am running into is that the payment processor requires port 1129 to be open and a .pem. Since the client is with yahoo business web hosting I cannot get them top open port 1129. (I assume I would need a dedicated IP for this?)

Have any of you used a hosting provider with First Data Global Gateway (linkpoint)? The port option is a requirement.

First Data is compatible with the Yahoo Payment Gateway.  Your client does not need the First Data Global Gateway - they can use Yahoo's payment gateway.
Otherwise, almost any webhosting provider will support this & have the linkpoint.dll installed on their server.  http://www.techevolution.com/ is one company that I have consulted with in the past that supports the DLL & opened port.

Admin I resolved my problem. This question can be closed. With Linkpoint you will need to use a host that can open port 1129. Also, you will receive a .pem cert from linkpoint.  When you receive the cert file (or download it from the online terminal) you must place it on the web server preferably not in the wwwroot but outside.

I ended moving the site to another hosting provider. We used hostmonster but other providers can provide what you will need. Through hostmonster we were able to setup the following:

1. A hosted acct with a dedicated IP. You will need a dedicated IP because most hosting providers use shared hosting (shared IP) so they cannot open specific ports. If you have a dedicated IP most providers can open specific ports for you. This is a cheaper solution versus getting your own virtual server etc.

2. We needed SSL. Again most provider provide shared SSL with their hosting, but to open port 1129 through a secured page we need our own SSL cert on our dedicated IP which we setup through the host. Hostmonster makes it pretty easy.

3. upload your .pem file somewhere in your home directory NOT in your wwwroot.
