How to deploy all files/subfolders in Visual Studio Setup and Deployment project

I want to be able to specify a folder heirarchy in my setup project without specifying the individual files. Having to update my project every time I add a file or subfolder that needs to be deployed is tedious and error-prone.

Surely there's a simpler way than writing custom extension code just to copy some files...
