I'd like a command line with which to backup our Exchange server.

ntbackup backup "\\OUR-SERVER\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group" "X:\robocopybackupweekly1\exchange111.bks"

The line above and several variations of it does not work.  Could someone correct the syntax of the command line.  The GUI just opens, does nothing and then closes very quickly.  Running it from a batch file is the goal.

Hello,

have a look at this. You can create it by yourself by running ntbackup and create a timed backup.
Now go to scheduled Task and copy the parameter.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe

backup "@C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data\Sicherung Exchange.bks" /n "Sicherung Exchange.bkf erstellt am 30.11.2007 um 18:42" /d "Satz am 30.11.2007 um 18:42 erstellt" /v:no /r:no /rs:no /hc:off /m normal /j "Sicherung Exchange" /l:s /f "D:\Exchange Sicherung\Sicherung Exchange.bkf"

[Sicherung Exchange.bks]
JET NTSERVER\Microsoft Information Store\Erste Speichergruppe\
SystemState
