Cannot open emails from the results list of a search Outlook 2003 - Additional Mailbox

The enviroment has Exchange 2007, the user has Outlook 2003. In her primary mailbox everything works fine. We can search, and open messages from the search results. We have added a 2nd mailbox to her setup, given her "Full" permissions. If we double click on any message in the "inbox", unfiltered, it will open.
If we do a search for a message and double click on it in the search results list it does not open.
Also after the search completes, the split screen that shows the message body dowes not show results.
