I have Symantec Endpoint Protection on my computer along with several versions of QuickBooks and it seems to work fine. I have SEP running at a client with QuickBooks V2009 and it is working well.  What is the issue?   ... Thinkpads_User

so now I have to figure out where in endpoint to allow the Quickbooks.com site to download its .exe update file
Any suggestions?

I don't have any entry in SEP to allow QuickBooks to update. I just use the Update function and it checks and downloads any updates. I have some somewhat erratic behaviour in the Auto Updates (it works sometimes and not others). But I just run Updates manually occasionally and pick up updates. Does this not work? .. Thinkpads_User
