Trend Micro InterScan messaging security suite inbound problem

I've just installed a new server with Trend Micro InterScan messaging security suite. I believe my firewall is configured correctly for inbound email to this server, but email isn't moving from this server to my exchange 2003 front end server.

On the IMSS monitor windows, I see a Total Queue counting up (at 276 at the moment), and received messages counts up. But we never receive any email at the end user level.

Got their support involved. It was several settings, but the MAIN thing was you HAVE to have the scanning service started even if you don't want to scan.
