What needs to be done to add a 2nd network card to a sbs 2003 server?

I currently have a sbs2003 connected from the modem-router (DFL-200)-switch-server/clients.

I want to setup a VPN, and have tryed all the correct step thats have worked flawlessly on 2 other servers.  The correct ports are forwarded yet I still get 800 error.  1723 is listening and still the 800.

If I set up a PPTP server and username on the DFL-200 it results in a 691 error so not getting into the server just the router.

I think if I add another network card I can alleviate a lot of my problems as the other server work fine and the only difference is 2 nic cards to one.

With that being said, what do I have to do to add another Nic?  If anyone thinks they can help me with the current VPN problem, let me know and I will create another question.

Have you thought about changing the router? Did you make sure you have pptp pass through enabled on the router? Also you mentioned port forwarding for 1723 what about protocol 47 GRE?

I have thought about changing the router, but dont want to commit until I am sure that is the issue.

I have opened 47... will check the pptp passthrough.
