Need to replace bad AGP Video Card

I need to replace a bad (?) AGP Video Card.  I have two Gateway 500SE's and monitor would not work, so I replaced the AGP Video Card with the one in the other computer and it worked.  Are AGP video cards still available for the Gateway 500SE and where can I purchase one.  I would appreciate any info on this.  Thank you!

It doesnt matter what brand of computer you are using. AGP is AGP. Yes, they are still available, check out www.newegg.com and you'll find many to choose from.

AGP is not AGP. It depends on whether the slot is AGP 2X, 4X, or 8X. There were a number of different Gateway 500SE models with widely different motherboards and CPUs. Here's are pictures of AGP slots so you can identify yours. Most currently available AGP cards are 8X cards which will work in an AGP 4X slot but not an AGP 2X slot. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/155/3

willcomp - Thank you for your comments.  I am going to take the bad AGP Video Card to a computer store and have the card checked and see if I can get it replaced.  Your info and website infor for greatly appreciated and stirs me in the right direction.  Have a nice evening.
