For about a week I have been seeing the following error when I start my computer, right before the login screen appears: "lsdelete not found, skipping autocheck". To my surprise, I can't find much of anything on this particular error. How do I begin troubleshooting?

Did you start to receive this error after uninstalling Ad-Aware?

Hi,

Try looking the registry under HKCU_Software_Microsoft_Windows_CurrentVersion_Run and HKLM_Software_Microsoft_Windows_CurrentVersion_Run and see if you find a referance to it there. Backup your registry before working in it you can do major damage to your PC if you delete the worng key.

Cheers,

This error appears to be related to Adaware. There are many people reporting this error, and many versions of a fix procedure; e.g.:

Hope this helps...
