Reset Com Port

Good day

I'm using a "virtual com port" that was created for AT Command to a GSM Card.
It's working good for about 10 connections, then it just stop responding.
When I go to the Device manager and right click on the port, select disable and then again enable, it is working again.

Is there a way to disable and enable a com port from Visual basic (API or something)?
