Default select of datagridview C#

Hi,
I have set the SelectionMode of my datagridview to FullRow.
I notice when i run the application the datagirdview automatically highlight the first row.
Is there a way to disable this?As i want the suer to select the initial row.

Thanks in advance for the help offered.

After binding datasouce to DataGridView
do something like:
dataGridView1.ClearSelection();
