Lotus Notes Resource Booking Problem

Having an issue with the Bookings.nsf database. Everything was working properly as of a couple of days ago in making reservations for rooms and equipment. Then, someone tried yesterday to make a booking ... it looked OK, the hourglass showed it was awaiting approval ...  but the booking vanished shortly thereafter. In testing, I crested a reservation, and when I clicked on the booking to look at it .. it says the 'document has been deleted'. And a refresh shows the record as being not there at all. A couple of people have tried and I've tried from an administrative account, no luck anywhere. We've tried different days, different resources ... nothing, it doesn't save any of the reservations. What can I look at here to be the problem?  Thanx ...

Had another issue with my mail server that showed up yesterday afternoon in which some people weren't able to read their messages via our web interface. All was ok via our normal means of access using the Notes client. So then I'm thinking what I really need to do is a reboot on my mail server.

Rebooted this morning, and everything is now working properly. Still no clue what caused it, but when I run into  more than 1 issue, I usually reboot.
