Micorsoft Update Naming Conventions

Hi.

Can someone please explain to me what the naming conventions of microsof vulnerabilities or updates mean. For instance MS_08_067 what does that mean? And what are KB articles? How often does MS release patches? I hear the second week of every month. Am i right? Can someone please explain these to me.

Second Tuesday of every month is what is know as "Patch Tuesday" all security updates and other fixes are released on this date which is today by the way.
