I have 2 citrix servers in my farm. WEll based on new apps and added users we added a third. What i did was image one of the existing ones and loaded the image on the new machine. (HP Pro dl360 G5) same as the old machine. Made the normal changes , changed name, IP and added it to the farm. All worked fine, then this afternoon web based users couldn't connect. to any of the the three. Now I should add I didn't add the new server to the web interface console (Main because I want just for inside users so it didn't get loaded up. The outside users where getting two error messages
1. The ticketing feature is disabled on one or more MetaFrame 3.0 servers. Please make sure that the Citrix XML Service is running on all MetaFrame servers in the farm and all servers are listening on the same port number
2. There is no Citrix Metaframe server configured on the specified address.
I tried all of the normal steps to fixe per citrix but nothing worked.
Now the funny thing is inside users are connecting to it all day long fine. So I decided to power down the new server and al of a sudden outside users where able to get in just fine. Any ideas? Could the new server be holding a setting since it was imaged?

Did you follow the instructions below when imaging a new server?

I believe so but it is similar to PS3.  Sorry, I missed the PS3 part of your post.

Use the Advanced Concepts Guide to check your image process was correct.

Ok so lets say I didn't follow the guidelines ( a rush job and didn't think about it) Would there be a way to clean it up. I tried removing Metaframe from the new server and reinstalling it. After that it works fine for about three hours then the min I publish our app to the new server. I can't rdp into by host name just IP and web interface users can't access the farm. It give the errror about now Metaframe server configured. I checked DNS host recoads and all seems fine. The reason I don't want to redo this is our citrix servers are loaded with apps. Any ideas?

If you have tried resetting the SID on this new server, and you have done a fresh install of the app you mention, you may want to see if there are any entries in the data store like a duplicate name that may be a cause of this issue.  You can use DSVIEW to look at the contents of the data store

Otherwise, I would say either a fresh build or reimage following the ACG.
