is there anything to this? I was told I can just slide it in and screw it in.  It is hot swappable right? Any commands I need to issue after installation?

thanks

Typically yes.

The chassis supports OIR but its best to verify per line card whether it supports online insertion.  What module are you installing (model number)?

If it is an interface line card, there is no config to bring it up, the ports will be ready to config.
