OKCANCELLISTMULT with no default?!?!

I have an agent that displays a picklist I want  to not have a default already selected, can that be done? The code below selects the 3rd option on the list, the problem is that the users here will ignore that selection and go ahaed and pick others. this causes the document to be filed improperly.....any suggestions?
Else
response1 = ws.Prompt (PROMPT_OkCancelListMult, "Select a Job Number to Apply to this message","Please de-select the default job number if not used. ", refnums(3),refnums)

		End If

I'm not sure I understand your question.  You firstly ask how not to have a default selected.  To achieve this replace the fefnums(3) with a blank....

response1 = ws.Prompt (PROMPT_OkCancelListMult, "Select a Job Number to Apply to this message","Please de-select the default job number if not used. ", "",refnums)

The second part of the question make me think you do want something selected so I am confused.

Can you you explain it in a different way

thanks
