HP laptop, DirectDraw audio / Video problem

Have HP 6730b,
and it has Directx 9.0c
I tried to do an update from MS,

First thing you see is a problem, is quicktime, it studders, you can go into control panel with
quicktime and set to save mode, not use DirectDraw, and it sees to work ok.

Big problem is we have the software Wirecast by Telestream, and it uses the Directx stuff,
and the Audio repeats, or echos when you play an audio file.
Video appears ok.
People at telestream can not help,
I have wiped this laptop and put fresh copy of XP pro, and the drivers disk that came with the computer.
Computer is 2 months old.
Any Suggestins.

What version of QuickTime are you using? QuickTime 7.6 for Windows XP or Vista is the latest.

Also, what's the date on your DirectX 9.0c? DirectX End-User Runtimes (March 2009) are the latest.
