Moving exchange as vm

We have exchange set up as two vms. I need to move them to another machine. They are VmWare server 1.0, and I  have already used converter on the outside/front end vm to vm server2.0, and it appears ok. I'm presently copying the other vm to the new machine to convert it. The plan is to copy the host network settings exactly and fire up the vms. I'm worried about 2 things. The sid's and exchange being synchronized since the new one will be a day behind. Is what I'm doing feasible, suggested? Anyone have a better method. Thanks in advance.

I have copied exchnage VMs between machines and different virtualisation products (VMWare Server and Hyper-V) and not had any issues.  As long you move and dont copy u should be okay
