Hi I'm using a component that is bugged. It won't be fixed and one simple way to fix it for me would be to cancel any double-click that happens on the page. Any way to do that ? What would be code ? Thanks

Your assumption that page doublecklick event handler will handle also your control doubleclick is wrong.
But you can check it yourself: http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_ondblclick.asp

<body ondblclick="return false" >
