LiveUpdate problem for Symantec EndPoint Protection

I have a PC installed with SEP v11.0 and couldn't run a LiveUpdate for a while.
I could neither install the copy again nor remove the SEP and LiveUpdate from Add/Remove program. It pops out with "LiveUpdate is currently running. Please wait for LiveUpdate to complete".

Any idea how to fix the problem ??
