Can not search outlook 2007 contacts using search facility.
I have a windows xp box and originally had Office 2003 installed. I upgraded Office to 2007 and installed windows search as it asks for. Outlook runs in a cached mode but configured to download all emails pst files but contacts and calenders are synchronised. I am able to search anything in the mails and local contacts but can not search anything on the server based contacts. Results always cones up could not find.
I tried deleting indexing cache. rebuld indexing and used diffrent profile but nothing worked.
Can anyone of experts guys help me as this is something going beyond?

So if you not searching for Local Contacts then you are trying to search for Contacts listed in the Global Address List, is this right?
ASKER
It works on the default personal folder where all mails get delivered but does not work on the exchange server based contacts that user has created himself. What user does he downloads all his emails to his laptop and uses outlook address book to synchronise with ihpone.
