Hello,
I am searching for an Outlook Connector library.
I already used "Java Outlook Connector" from moyosoft (http://www.moyosoft.com/joc/) but this one is very slow.
The Connector has to be faster and should support reading of
 - emails,
 - contacts,
 - calendar,
 - notes
 - tasks

Exchange support would be great but is not the main criteria.
It does not matter if it is Open Source or has a license fee.

Please attach a code snippet or a short tutorial on how to connect to the different Outlook versions (2000, XP, 2007, etc.)

The outlook connector link that you mentioned looks interesting.

What I also found in my internet research was the ComfyJ product at

http://www.teamdev.com/comfyj/

This library gives me full Java support. So I do not have to think about how to call the methods from a dll or another language library.

But I will check also check the outlook connector and will compare the results.

The requirement for the connector changed...
There is only the need for indexing outlook 2007 folder (emails, contacts, tasks, ...). With the table object I can _iterate_ faster through the folder. So I can continuing using the connector from moyosoft. Now iterating through the folder is possible under 2 minutes instead of 2 hours (by ca. 75.000 emails).

I will split points because the link provides connectivity to outlook.
