Connecting to Term Server

What is the best and most secure way to connect to a term server without using RDP? Is Remote Web Desktop connection a good way? The term server is Server03 R2.

Remote Desktop is RDP. RDP is a protocol to connect with the server. You can use citrix more expensive with ICA protocol or if you want use VNC or similiar. The best is your are afraid about the port, you can change the port to listening RDP o Remote desktop.

The term server is in a Medical Office and the Hospital provides the firewall.  There are a number of Doctors that need to connect from home and the hospital Admin does not want to leave RDP open to anyone.  The doctors at home do not have static IP's.  So is there another way to connect to the Term Server without using RDP? Other remote access options? Security is priorty.

Use IPsec between client and server. You have a high level of security because it's medical information. Another use VPN (PP2TP, LTP). If there are outside the business
