Remote Desktop is RDP. RDP is a protocol to connect with the server. You can use citrix more expensive with ICA protocol or if you want use VNC or similiar. The best is your are afraid about the port, you can change the port to listening RDP o Remote desktop.

The term server is in a Medical Office and the Hospital provides the firewall.  There are a number of Doctors that need to connect from home and the hospital Admin does not want to leave RDP open to anyone.  The doctors at home do not have static IP's.  So is there another way to connect to the Term Server without using RDP? Other remote access options? Security is priorty.
Thx
