Hello:

I have a dual-monitor setup.  Is it possible to open two different Filemaker Pro databases at once for comparison purposes?  I tried and I couldn't seem to do this.

Thanks!

no, unfortunately
only 1 instance of fm at once.
what you can do is rename the 2nd db, extend the fm window to cover both screens, and open both files and place them side by side

Thanks for your quick response!  I can open two databases within Filemaker.  However your suggestion doesn't seem to work.  When I try to drag one of the database windows to the second monitor it doesn't work.

no, make the main window big enough to cover both monitors first.
then drop the 2nd db, and rearrange window to share the common space
