left side panel like windows explorer

I am trying to find a script that would allow me to have a panel on a webpage that behaves like the left navigation panel of windows explorer or an IDE software.

Basically, you can adjust the panel size by dragging its side border.  You can click to collapse it and have a slim bar or tab to reopen it.

I have searched and can find slide out panels, but not ones that behave like this with a resizeable feature to it.

I am using JSP and would prefer a javascript or jquery solution.  Open to others.
