problem while compiling y.tab.c - yacc

Hello,

When i  compile my lexer and my grammar seperately i get no errors. but when i compile them as a shell script, i get a multiple errors. Why is that happening ?

yacc -d parser.y
lex lexer.l
gcc -c y.tab.c lex.yy.c
gcc y.tab.o lex.yy.o compiler.c -o compiler
