I have an event handler contained in a C# Class library.  it is basically a class that inherits from a generic event handler and overrides one of its methods.

All i want to do is to exit the event handler under a certain condition like so... but don't know the syntax:

if (condition)
{
//syntax for exiting here
}
else   //keep on going.
