What's the best way to do the following.

I have a grid view and it displays workoutplans, i want to click on the Select for a row(workoutplan).Then it brings me to a new page which displays another grid view with all the workouts for that workoutplan.

Workout Plan Table Bellow:

                  workout             Description          exercise   workoutcat       startdate
 Select | morrys workout | this is my workout | Cardio   | Treadmil      | 12/04/2009

    Accepted Solution

    Rather than a select command, I would make a hyperlink that uses some identifier of the workout plan in the querystring.

    make a column like

    <asp:HyperLinkField DataNavigateUrlFields="MyID" DataNavigateUrlFormatString="Page2.aspx?ID={0}" Text="Select" />
