OUTLOOK AUTO COMPLETES TO THE WRONG INTERNAL EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!
i have a user that has the wrong address int he NK2 file in their outlook.
i keep deleting it, but it keeps coming back with the wrong address, the user is internal on our exchange server, im not sure why this happens but the users email is similar to this
john.doe@domain.com
when i hit check names after typing this in the TO field, it auto completes to the correct address John Doe
when i open another email and try it again, it auto completes to something like this <JDOE29924604>
i think this might be a dns, or an exchange server issue, any ideas?
i believe this username/mailbox was deleted in the past in active directory and recreated, so im guessing it might be in cache somewhere? maybe on his computer, i have no idea, user is getting irritated... cry me a river

are you deleting the entry in Outlook, or in the nk2 file directly?
ASKER
in outlook, how can you delete it in the NK2 file?
there are apps that allow you to modify a nk2 file directly.

this will allow me to modify the nk2 file? or export it to another file type?
