every time you have apply a snapshot you will have a problem as you objects will get rescripted and you column will disappear.. &nbsp; i would create another table that is not part of replication to hold this static subscriber data..

I have set up merge replication in SQL 2005. &nbsp;In one of the tables that I am replicating there is a field that I do not want to replicate so I unchecked it when setting up the publication. &nbsp;When I set up the subscription SQL deleted the unchecked field from the subscription DB. &nbsp;I want the field there I just do not want the data replicated. &nbsp;Has anyone had this problem or know of a way around this issue?
