CrystalReports.com Text off page

Hi,

I have a report that i created in Crystal Reports 2008. It fine in the program but when i upload it to crystalreports.com it does not keep the text object size. The viewer shows the data running off the page even if i lock size position and have can grow unchecked. Am I missing any other setting?

How is it running off the page?

What were the margin settings?

Do you use a specialized printer on the development machine?

I have attached the a pic of the edge of the page. It also is running through the next text objects.

Margins are set 0.250 all around

No specialized printer - should i have specialized printer type selected before uploading?

Again, this only occurs when viewing through crystalreports.com

Thanks.

No need for a special printer.  Crystal uses the printer driver to render the report so if it changes then the view can change.

Can you give a screen shot of the report in the Crystal designer

It appears the comment field is at or slightly past the right edge of the report
Try making it slightly narrower

That isn't it. The comment field is not past the right edge of the report. The page is letter size/landscape. And, just in case i reduced the comment field and it is still running off the view on crystalreports.com

I'm not sure CrystalReports.com is 100% Crystal 2008 compatible, from what I remember.  As such, it might not recognize 2008 features, like the custom page sizing.

Per the official website (http://www.crystalreports.com/resources/faq.asp):

"Can I host my Crystal Reports files created in older versions of Crystal Reports?

Yes. Starter Edition and Professional Edition support Crystal Reports XI and all previous Crystal Reports file types. Publishers are not required to migrate reports forward to XI or other future versions of Crystal Reports.

Is crystalreports.com compatible with Crystal Reports 2008?

Reports built with Crystal Reports 2008 are compatible with crystalreports.com with the exception of some new features added to Crystal Reports 2008 such as the embedding of Flash (.swf) files and the viewing of reports with advanced filtering and sorting controls. We currently recommend using Crystal Reports XI Release 2 with crystalreports.com."

Custom page sizing is a new feature, therefore, it might not be supported.
