Blackberries stoped synching last night. I can to the office this morning and I saw following error messages in the event log.
Does anybody have any idea what is going on?

Thank you.

The description for Event ID ( 10000 ) in Source ( BlackBerry Controller ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 'Server Name' agent 1 failed to initialize within 30 seconds.

Download the lastest service pack from here -

This should recreate the missing service and allow the other services to start.

    Accepted Solution

Hi, the first thing to always try is restarting the BES.  If this fails check the BlackBerry database for errors by performing the following:

    1. Stop the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services.
    2. Open a command prompt window and type osql -E and press Enter.
    - Type the following commands in the specified order and press Enter after each line:
    1>use BESMgmt
    1>dbcc checkdb

Post back if any errors are found.
