Callpilot and Lotus Notes, not playing nice with each other.

Hello EE,

I am unable to properly install callpilot to view fax messages delivered to vm boxes in the office.  There is only one known working instance but the person has left the company and cannot remember how they got it to work.  The process was simple, an employee would receive a fax in their vm, the message would be forwarded to the the one person who had callpilot installed and he would email them the tiff.

We have callpilot unified messaging software 2.5...  Which is rated to work with LN 6.x and LN 7.x.  I tried installing 6.0 on a test computer and during the install I received an error message that callpilot was unable to locate the names file and thus would like update the mail file.  I received similar errors when trying to install the app with LN 6.5,7, 8, and 8.5 (the last 2 i knew would fail but decided to give it a shot) although these errors specified callpilot was unable to locate the notes.ini file and would like update the mail file

I located the reg entry and successfully modified it to point file it was looking for, but I can not figure out how to update the notes client to contain the CP view.  I have attached a screenshot of what it would look like successfully.  Thanks in advance for your help.

1) you may need to install the Notes Client in the Old standard directories

c:\lotus\notes
c:\lotus\notes\data

rather than using the user profiles that newer versions use

try it after removing all versions, or on a clen machine or image.

That didn't work.  But I was able to find to get the "views" in notes.  We made a template from the only known working mail file and applied to my mail file. It works and allows me to check my messages, but i periodically receive these pop ups regarding DBUs stating "DBUs can not be transferred between processes".  I found a siite with information, but it does not make sense.

The notes mail file where call pilot is successfully installed and working fine was used with notes 8.5 on a mac and did not receive these pop ups.  Any ideas?

Not sure. Also , was the names.nsf file also updated from the correct template ?

Not sure, we would only receive the error regarding names.nsf when installing callpilot with LN6.0 installed.  With LN 7, 8 and 8.5 we get any error regarding notes.ini.  I tried updating the template with the callpilot templates manually and totally destroyed my mail file.
