Reporting framework for C# .Net

Hi,

What is a good, recommended reporting framework for ASP-C# .net? I am looking at something that is database independent, so looking at options other than SSRS. Something that can work with SQL Server as well as MYSQL database.

Also,
1. It should have zero deployment license cost
2. If possible open source and free development license cost.
3. Good community support.

Take a look at Telerik's Reporting tool

I believe it should fulfill most of your needs.

No its very expensive, even for a one-time cost. I am not really looking at charting features as of now, just basic reporting.

I think this is good! It might take a while to evaluate the product so I wont wait to close the question, but before closing, can you think of any other options? Let me know, else I ll close the question.

This does nt look open source, so there is certain element of vendor risk involved. Else the features laid out look good enough for a free tool.
