Server Busy error

I have one laptop on my network that has started giving the "Server Busy" error box, mostly when using Oulook.  The laptop is Windows XP, SP3, Office 2007, Exchange 2003.  It gives the option to Switch To or Retry, niether seem to do anything.

Has anyone seen this?

can the laptop ping the exchange server

Yes, it can.  It doesn't appear to be a connectivity issue, this user has been in the same office all along.  The laptop is fairly new, but didn't start having this issue until recently.
has the port slowed down or something then
Not sure, I can move him to a different port on the switch as a test.
also check thier laptop settings as well
What settings in particular?
speed and duplex in the properties of the nic and usually advanced
ping might not show this as its titchey compared to windows
