Connection to MS exchange unavailable
One of our users has autoaccept for calendar stuff on. I went to turn it off ( tools-->options-->Calendar Options-->resource scheduling) and when i click resource scheduling i get an error "The Connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action. I have tried 2003, 2007, cached, not cached all with the same result. Everyone else with Exchange is working fine.
Any ideas what is causing this error?

Is there anything going on with your public folders at the moment? https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21456137/Creating-Resource-scheduling-gives-an-error.html?query=Resource+Scheduling+error&clearTAFilter=true

no currently they are working fine but we did have an issue with the public folders a few weeks back. we do replication to a second site and during a failover test we had an issue mounting the public folders but it was resolved and all is good now.
What version of Exchange are your servers running?
ASKER
2003, 2 server clustered...all up to date
Check the Public Folder Instances for the Schedule+Free Busy folder to make sure it exists. Check under the Public Folder list(Under the Storage Group) to make sure you have both replicas set up.

looking under public folders i dont see anything like that. just our normal 10 or so public folders...there should be on that says either schedule, free, or busy??
