Hi, as far as im aware you can only connect to full desktops using the ASA web portal Citrix plugin. to get this working you you need users to come in over the ssl portal then be redirected to the Citrix web interface they will then be able to access all of there published applications and desktops. You may encounter a "There is no Citrix Presentation Server configured on the specified address" error. This will be either due to a NAT issue or a firewall is blocking the ICA ports. to test this run "telnet Target_IP 1494" if you use session reliability then the port will be 2598, if the connection times out heres your issue.

If the ports are fine and your still receiving the  "There is no Citrix Presentation Server configured on the specified address" error. this could be a NAT issue Google "altaddress citrix" this will give you loads of guides on setting up NAT inside citrix which is beyond the scope of this answer.

Good luck
Chris

Thank you for the input on our problem. We are testing this solution early this week and I will let you  know how it goes.

I am still hoping for a published app solution to work through the portal via Citrix or Terminal Server 2008. [ICA, RDP or HTTP]
