MAC OS X version 10.5.6 port scan

I need to check if TCP Port 1723, IP Protocol 47 (GRE) are opened on my MACBOOK.
Is there any way I can check it without installing any port scanner?
if No what port scanner do you recommended

Unless you have turned on the Mac Firewall, all ports are open.

Try the network utility found in \applications\utilities
