I've got a brand new Sprint HTC Touch Diamond for my mom. Because I felt the TouchFlow 3D interface would be much too complicated for her to use, I turned it off and am using the standard Windows Mobile 6.1 Today Screen. It's a lot simpler to just have the standard Start Menu that doesn't change, and she understands that. However, when I customize the Today Screen items (I have added Messaging and Calendar), there is no line to add a "New Voicemail" item. On my old Motorola Q (Running Windows Mobile 5), there's a line that lets me know if there is a New Voicemail, and I can just click on it to have it call voicemail for me. But I can't find that in the 6.1 Today Screen. I am aware that there is the "Notifications" soft key, and if you click it, it will pop up a message bubble notifying you of a voicemail. But I'm afraid that Mom just won't pay attention to that litlte thing in the corner of her screen. I want it to be a prominent line on her desktop (like the messaging for email, and the calendar for new appointments). Is there any way to add the voicemail line back in? Even a 3rd party way?
