IBM Thinkpad T60 Keyboard and Mouse are sometimes not working on startup
Hi
I tried to search on the net, but did not find much, I tried the bios, and the newest BIOS update. I was not able to install the newest BIOS anyway due to the error message : "BIOS image file cannot be found".
Anyway the problem is that sometimes or most of the time when restarting my T60, the keyboard/mouse will not work. I have to restart it a couple of times. It will especially not work if I turn it off while the charger/external mouse is plugged in, AND then I will turn it on without the plugged in stuff (on shut down). Or wise versa. Mostly it wants to be rebooted, with the same stuff plugged-in our not on shutdown.
This is annoying, does anybody know how to fix this?
Thank you.

The problem could be due to the touch pad and or keyboard.
Try to disable the touch pad in XP or the Bios on startup if problem persists it could be a keyboard issue.
Worst scenario you may have to replace the keyboard and or the touchpad.
