How to separate the label control from the textbox control in a report.
In Access 2003, I could delete the link between a label and it's associated textbox. Then I could move each in report design view.
How can I do this in Access 2007?

you could try ctrl-x (cut) the label, then to use it elsewhere, paste it (ctrl-v)
sorry, I forgot to add, thats how you can do it in A2003, did you try that same way in A2007?

when u cut/paste it comes up with a dropdown with a exclamation mark. Click that and hit ignore error will remove that.
there is settings somewhere I think. In A2003, you can disassociate a label then click on menu option format/set control defaults, that then doesnt create a label when u create a textbox. Same in reports as well I think.
Not sure where that is in A2007

Thanks,
I never would have figured that out in less than one thousand menu combination tries.
