DNS Problem on server 2008

Server Running Windows Server 2008, with 6 Clients running XP Professional.

The DNS will suddenly stop resolving websites. I have to go on to the Server - stop the DNS Server service running and start it again.

It occurs almost once a day.

Any suggestions?

The service doesn't stop - it just stops resolving web pages on the client PCs. And wont resolve anything until I restart the DNS Server service.

Do you have DNS forwaders setup with the most updated forwarders from your ISP? Make sure you are fully updated.

All? Or some? There is currently an issue with Server 2008 where it will cease to resolve .co.uk domains if you're using Root Hints.

I would check the Forwarders if you have any configured as problems there would cause problems with resolution.
