Could not open macro storage
I have an old System that uses Word 97 to display and print documents. On some PCs the application crashes when trying to link to Word 97. I have been testing it and I tried to open the VBA editor in Word and get the message: Could not open macro storage. I tried out the steps described in Q162053 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q162053/ but nothing seemed to work.
I logged in as a local administrator and could see the VBA editor and the application worked linking with Word.
Is there something I am missing logging in as a regular user?

BTW, I tried to open the VBA editor in an empty new Word document.

Did you make sure that the regular user can create Temp files? Word will create a temporary file whenever a document is opened or printed. In some instances it will create the temp file in the AutoRecover location. Tools, Options, File Locations.
