Embedding hyperlinks into jpeg images

Is there any way to embed a hyperlink into a jpeg image?  I want to be able to email this jpeg to some customers and have them be able to click on it and have it send them to a website.  Is this possible?

DanielWillmott's comment will work too!!... but you'd have to upload the file somewhere on the web to link to it... photobucket it good... where he has source="image" will be the url link to the image

As long as your email is in HTML format. Which email client are you using?

what email client are you using??.. if outlook or entourage then it's super easy... just drag and drop or insert the picture you want into your email... right click on it and go to hyperlink.. then type in the url... (make sure you insert the picture into the email and not attach it)

I am using Microsoft Entourage 2008.  I am trying to add the hyperlink in Photoshop, but I am not being successful in doing so.

You won't be able to embed it in the picture itself. You would have to do it in the email client which, from what I understand, you can't do in Entourage 2008.

Even enabling HTML doesn't appear to allow you to embed hyperlinks...
Formatting text
Entourage can send email messages formatted in either plain text or HTML. The HTML format offers more options in the design elements, like bold, italic, ordered lists, colored text, etc.

To change the format for each message, click on the "ab->ab" icon to switch from plain text to HTML or the reverse.

To can set your preference to HTML as a default for all your messages:

Entourage -> Preferences
Under Mail & News Preferences, select Compose
Under General, click either "Plain Text" or "HTML" on the pull-downs next to Mail format and News format
Next, also under Mail & News Preferences, select Reply & Forward
Under Reply & Forward, either check or un-check the box next to Reply to messages in the format in which they were sent (by having the box checked, it ensures that when you receive a message from someone using an e-mail application that cannot read HTML, you reply in plain-text format)
