Hey thanks. Thats a positive reply. I have been able to successfully install and configure HP SIM for my local subnet and the discovery protocol was able to detect all our servers in this subnet.

We have 3 major subnets. I have created a separate server just for HPSIM in this local subnet and I want to make sure that the discovery protocol can find all the other servers in other two subnets. Our purpose to do so is configuring and accessing iLO using HPSIM from this one server.

Can you please be more specific as to how I go about configuring the routes to other subnets? Thanks again for your help!!

Your applications are not going to do the routing.  This would be on your network level where you routers physically exist to create said infrastructure.  I think that this is beyond the scope of the question.  The routes really depend on the type of equipment you have on site and what type of links to each site exist.

Thanks
Ohhh ok.... thanks for the clarification.

One last question.....

Is there any way to test this out if I know the physical locations for those devices?
Thanks.

This is much more in depth than just accessing the devices.  If you can ping the servers that you want to monitor then more than likely the HP IM will work.
ok, which port to open for redirection ?
