IIS or ASP.NET or SQL Server problem

Hi there;

Lately, i have uploaded an .ASP.NET project to my local server...I imported db to my SQL Server successfully...IIS is working well...I can view login page..There is no problem with db..I can do db operations both in VS 2008 .NET server explorer and server mgmt studio express...

As i said, I can view login page but I cannot authenticate to the website that is created in .NET 2008...So, I guess it's related with IIS and i edit ASP.net tab there, as forms because my friend's code has the authentication lines as in 4th screenshot...

Please examine the other screenshots and their descriptions...I don't think it's an SQL Server issue but an IIS issue and ASP.NET...My IIS is 5.1 btw...

Best regards...

Did you create the login db using the default "aspnetdb" database?
If yes, did you use the default connection? and when you moved the database, did you change the web.config properly?
(You have to add a line to clear the default built in connection)

Such as:
<remove name="LocalSqlServer"/>
<add name="LocalSqlServer" connectionString="your_new_connection" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"/>

have you given asp.net user permission / also network service?

Hi there;

well, i created the login for root...I can authenticate with windows and SQL...Root has permission...

Please examine the screenshots...

I haven't dealt with asp.net user permission...Please tell me how to set...I am a little new for .NET stuff...

Best regards...
Here is the database user, root properties and login properties for the root as screenshot:

Tell me what to do...

Best regards...
