Blackberry 4.7.0.32 Desktop does not find my device Storm 9530 4.7.0.75.

I have Blackberry 4.7.0.32 Desktop on my PC and the Storm 9530 has 4.7.0.75. Using the USB I am able to access the memory card. The desktop manger does not find the device and not pin number shows up.
I have reloaded the desktop and still does not work.This worked before 4.7.0.75 was updated to the device last week.

No I am able to get to the memory card and download music etc.
Still will not find the device when connected with the USB.

Understood. Next thing I would do is uninstall the 4.7 Desktop Manager. Then download and install Desktop Manager 4.6.

This worked previously with the desktop 4.7.0.32. Would I be better to hard reset the the devce and then reload the device software to a previous version? If so how do I hard reset to remove the current device software?

Its pretty straightforward to uninstall but since you don't have access to desktop manager, unless you wipe the device, its a no go. I would not wipe unless you don't care what's on the bb device or if you already have a current backup. Basically you need to get that bb device connected using some version of Desktop Manager.

Hi, connect your device to the PC without the battery and it will load a different set of drivers. Once the device is detected in Device Manager insert the battery (dont disconnect the device from the USB). Now your computer should find the device correctly but if the driver is listed as unknown open it in device manager and select Update Driver (it can download the driver via Windows Update).
