Hi,

1) This is related to question at a prep test
2) This is related to ACL and i need some clarification
3) The ACL is as the followings:
access-list 100 deny ip 192.168.125.34 0.0.0.0 any
4) My questions: i) Is the " 192.168.125.34 0.0.0.0 " refering to the host of 192.168.125.34 ? (Pls confirm), ii) What does this ACL mean?
5) Thank you

In ACL's, masks are oposite of normal.  Meaning a "1" is a "Don't care bit and a "0" is a "must match" bit.  In this case 192.168.125.34 0.0.0.0 only applies to that single host.  It could also be written like this:

access-list 100 deny ip host 192.168.125.34 any

Hope that helps

I just tried this on my router and when I type this:

access-list 100 deny ip 192.168.125.34 0.0.0.0 any

and do a "SHOW RUN", the router automatically converts it to:

access-list 100 deny ip host 192.168.125.34 any
